Hello, and thank you for visiting my blog.
Well, where to start! My name is Camille, and I live in Northampton (UK) with my 2 little monsters. I took the plunge and qualified as a Nail Technician in the summer of 2016, after a long lived love of nail art.
I probably wouldn't have taken this plunge had I not joined Jamberry as one of their Independent Consultants when they launched here in the UK. I initially took an online diploma so that I could apply the nail wraps at parties, as only nail technicians are allowed to do this. But, once I started my course, I realised that this was what I really wanted to do, which prompted me to go and find a better college or course, as the one I had taken, asked for no evidence that I could do any of the treatments I was supposedly trained for! Although I knew the theory, and had passed the written exams, I didn't have the confidence behind me to put this into practice. Then I found Essential Nails.
I was immediately drawn to Essential Nails and their courses, and it was mostly down to their Nail Trainer, and how they assessed your work. "Handy Mandy", or my nail trainer, has been a constant in all of my training since then, and is still used for practice and trying out new nail art ideas, and furthering my studies even more. My only regret is that I didn't find Essential Nails sooner!
So, now I'm finishing off my training, just working through my 120 sets of acrylic nails (both using tips, and sculptured), to get signed off on my acrylics, and furthering my nail art studies.
I'm still an Independent Jamberry Consultant (you can view my web shop via the link to the right), and looking to go mobile in my local areas once my little miss starts pre-school. We're just awaiting a place for her when she turns two, but fingers crossed, I'll be able to go mobile in September. And in this time, I hope to be signed off on all of the nail technician courses on my to-do-list.
Please feel free follow me and my progress, through my blog, Facebook page, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram posts.
I hope you have enjoyed finding out about me, and I hope you enjoy my blog, videos and posts.
Best wishes,
Camille xx
